The hands behind La Posery

We are a small team of urban gardeners and plant-care writers who test every method on our own balconies before publishing it. No theory without a pot.

Founder & lead editor

Kasturba Bhola Masih

Kasturba started La Posery in a rented flat with two basil plants and a leaking window sill. She now manages the editorial calendar, tests every capillary watering rig, and writes most of the step-by-step guides. Her focus is on making indoor growing work in small, low-light homes.

Content & plant trials

Sabina Aadish Kata

Sabina runs the plant trials for the site. She compares potting mixes, tracks germination times, and documents which pest-control recipes actually hold up indoors. Her monthly notes on leaf colour and root health shape the practical sections of every guide we publish.

Design & green styling

Rohan Mehta

Rohan translates our test results into clean, readable layouts. He photographs the plants in natural light, sketches the vertical garden diagrams, and keeps the visual style consistent across the blog. He also builds the recycled-material planters you see in the tutorials.

Community & reader care

Anjali Deshpande

Anjali answers reader questions about pest outbreaks, watering schedules, and potting mistakes. She collects the most common problems from the comments and turns them into short troubleshooting notes for the guide center. If a method fails in your home, she wants to know why.

Who we are and why we grow

La Posery is a quiet corner for people who grow things indoors

We started with a windowsill and a basil plant

Our origin

La Posery began in a small apartment where a single basil plant refused to thrive. Instead of giving up, we studied the soil, the light, the watering rhythm. That first success turned into a habit, and the habit became a project. Today we help city dwellers turn balconies, windowsills and kitchen counters into productive green spaces.

We believe a home garden should feel like a natural extension of daily life, not a complicated hobby.

We write for people with limited space and full schedules

Who we serve

Our readers are urban renters, busy professionals, parents and students who want fresh herbs, leafy greens and ornamental plants without a backyard. We focus on practical methods: capillary watering systems, organic pest control, vertical gardens built from recycled materials. Every guide is tested in real apartments before it reaches the site.

If you have a window with decent light, you already have enough space to start.

We test what we recommend

Our approach

Before we publish a review of self-watering pots or grow lamps, we use them for at least a full growing cycle. We compare substrates side by side, measure how long capillary systems keep soil moist, and document which plants respond best to each setup. This means our advice is grounded in observation, not guesswork.

Every guide on La Posery comes from a real pot, a real window and a real season of trial.

We keep things simple and sustainable

Our principles

We avoid expensive gadgets and complicated routines. Our guides favor recycled containers, homemade compost and natural pest deterrents. We also respect the limits of indoor growing: not every plant belongs in every home, and we say so clearly. Honest expectations help people succeed and keep gardening enjoyable.

Good gardening is about consistency and observation, not perfection.

No publicamos teoría suelta.
